Lahari going strong!

The three decades most successful Audio house in Karnataka Lahari Recording Company shifting to its own building in Chamrajpet in Bangalore on two floors of 4500 sq feet each has announced the music awards for film and basic programs.

Lahari Recording company evolved by G Manohar Naidu and supported well by his brother Thulsiram Naidu (Lahari Velu he is known as) has grown from five audio cassettes production to 4,50,000 cassettes per month in the production department from sincere effort, hard work and loyalty. Lahari Recording Company has 14000 plus titles in its credit and nearly 75000 songs of film, light, devotional, Hindustani, classical, instrumental, folk and others form in it.

With many super hits films to its credit in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil Lahari Recording Company in south India is the first one to reduce the audio prices to Rs.20 at its 20th year of existence.

With films like Prema Loka, Ranadheera, Shruthi, Sangliana, Mana Mechchidha Hudugi, Ramachari, Chaitradha Premanjali, Nammura Mandhara Hoove, A, Chandramukhi Praanasakhi, Karpooradha Gombe, Amrutha Varshini, Veerappa Nayak, Ramya Chaitrakala in Kannada, Roja, Sagara Sangamam, Bobbili Puli, Rowdy Alludu, Gang Leader, Premi Kudu, Hitler, Master, News, Sparsha, Neeku Naaku, Swadeshi, Arundhathi, Billa, Mithrudu in Telugu, Dhalapathi in Tamil is the highest audio price the Lahari Recording Company has given so far.

On entering the 30th year Lahari Recording Company in the leadership of Mr Swamy has started Lahari Vision with AC shooting floors, with three cameras, Avid digital editing, generator facility, wide green room, Blue Mat and Canteen consisting office. As a matter of fact lyrics, music, shooting, editing is possible in one floor.

On this occasion Manohar Naidu of Lahari Audio and Visual Recording Company has announced 12 music awards six for films and six for basic programs that have come in 2009. The award carries Rs.25000 cash prize and Rs.1 lakh is instituted for the annual ‘Lahari Swara Sagara’ award. This will be given in the name of Lahari brothers father Late BS Govindaswamy.

The Lahari Music Awards presentation slated for January 2010 will be a unique one. In the 24 hours musical program one award will be presented after two hours of musical program. This is organized in association with Zee Kannada popular television channel.
