K.R. Vijaya returns to Kannada

She is well known for playing the goddess on screen and even today, veteran actress K.R. Vijaya is 'the' actress when it comes to playing mythological roles. She is making a comeback in Kannada films in the mythology genre with Om Shakthi Mahime, directed by B.M.P. Annayya, veteran of several devotional films like Sri Krishna Sandhana, Ramaswamy Krishnaswamy and Brahmacharigalu Saar Brahmacharigalu. Produced by R. Venkatesh under the Sri Raghavendra Swamy banner, the song recording of the movie commenced recently at Vijaya recording studio.

K.R. Vijaya was last seen in Kannada in Ondagona Baa with late Somayajulu of Shankarabharanam fame.
